Asp.Net Corephilia took place in Dhaka

Asp.Net Corephilia” was held on 24th September, 2016 at NewsCred. The event was organized by “Asp.Net Bangladesh“.  A total of 40 developers were participated on the event. This is the first dedicated event on Asp.Net Core.

The event was mainly conducted by Bangladeshi MVP’s, along with them some local developers also get chance to present their view. There were a total of 4 sessions on Asp.Net Core.

The event was inaugurated by Shahriar Hossain, the organizer of this event. The event had drawn a very good response from the community. NewsCred was the venue sponsor and hifipublic was the proud media sponsor of this event.

Middleware are software components that are assembled into an application pipeline to handle requests and responses. Middleware becomes one of the great things which made Asp.Net Core easily extensible. Although there are enough pre-built-in middleware available today for use, its also possible to write custom middleware. One of the featured session of this event was “Middleware in Asp.Net Core“, which was covered by me.

Introducing Microsoft Bot Framework in Azure

“Microsoft Developers Conference – 2016” was held on the 3rd of September, 2016 at Leads Training and Consulting Ltd. The event was organized by “Microsoft Technical Community – Bangladesh”. A total of 80 developers were participated on the event.

The event was conducted by Bangladeshi MVP’s. There were a total of 6 session on different topic like Microservices, Azure Service Fabric, Microsft Bot Framework, Asp.Net Core, Windows Platform Development and Sharepoint.

The event was inaugurated by the CIO, Mr. Papias Hawlader of LEADS Group. The event had drawn a very good response from the community.

One of the featured session of this event was the Microsoft Bot Framework with Azure  which was covered by me.

The panel of speakers included Shahriar Hossain , Mahedee Hasan, Swagata Prateek, Atis Diponkar and Rahat Yasir.

Get ready for Global Azure Bootcamp 2016

After the success of the first Global Azure Bootcamp in Bangladesh, I Shahriar Hossain, on behalf of Microsoft Azure Bangladesh user group is happy to announce the probable date and venue of Global Azure Bootcamp 2016, Bangladesh. This year Global Azure Bootcamp will be held on April 2, 2016. Like previous year the event is likely to be held at Newscred, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

GABC_GroupJust to give you a quick recap, Last year we received satisfactory response from the IT professionals and university students. 120 enthusiasts had participated in the event. The event had received praises from different corners of the country and had drawn media attention as well. Many had expressed the need for such events in the future as these interactive events introduces IT professionals and specially the startup businesses and enterprises with the power of Azure. Along with Bangladesh, Global Azure Bootcamp 2015 was held at 183 other locations in 64 countries on the same day. The details of Global Azure Bootcamp 2015 (Bangladesh) can be found here.

Global Azure Bootcamp 2015 was so much successful and had received so many positive feedbacks that this year we are aiming higher and we are hoping to see much more participation and much more enthusiasm than last year.

So all the Azure enthusiasts out there in Bangladesh, its time to get excited for the Global Azure Bootcamp 2016.

DotNetters Tech Summit – 2015 NUB

“DotNetters Tech Summit – 2015 NUB” was held on Saturday, 14th Nov at NUB (Northern University Bangladesh). The event was organized by Microsoft technical community group ‘DotNetters’. The event was inaugurated by the departmental head of Computer Science of NUB. This was the very first deep dive technical session they were receiving from industry experts. The event had drawn a very good response from computer science students of NUB.

Campus Cloud Show @ IUT – 3

Highly anticipated Campus Cloud Show was held at IUT (Islamic University of Technology) campus on 21st August, 2015 at the initiative of Microsoft Azure Bangladesh. The event was exclusive to the IUTians only and the number of attendees went beyond expectation. The Agenda of the daylong event covered areas like – Cloud and BigData, Cloud Architecture, NoSql, Version Controlling and Node in Azure. The speaker panel was an impressive one too which included personalities like – Shahriar Hossain , Software Engineer (Desme) & Consultant (GreenCoders), Delwar Hossain, Lead Developer of Nerddevs, Shahriar Iqbal Chowdhury / Galib, CTO of Desme, Ronald Roni Saha, Software Engineer of SoftwarePeople and Sohel Rana, Founder of Nerddevs.

Since this was the first time IUTian were attending cloud related event, so a good introduction of Cloud and BigData was mandatory. Thus a QA based session of “Cloud and BigData” was taken by Shahriar Hossain where the students got the chance to interact with the speaker directly. This allowed students to clear all their confusion regarding cloud technologies.

Introducing Cloud Computing at DotNetters Tech Summit – 2015 RUET

A day long technical event titled “DotNetters Tech Summit – 2015 RUET” was held on Saturday, 6th June at RUET (Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology) organized by Microsoft technical community group ‘DotNetters’. The event was inaugurated by honorable vice-chancellor of RUET Prof. Dr. Mohd. Rafiqul Alam Beg. This event had drawn immense response from computer science students and technology enthusiasts of RUET.

Speakers at the event comprise of renowned software architects and engineers from different reputed software companies in Bangladesh. Featured part of the event was an interactive development drills participated by all the “DotNetters” speakers.

The panel of speakers include Shahriar Hossain (tech author & Microsoft Technical Community Speaker), Shahriar Iqbal Chowdhury (CTO, Desme),  Ronald Roni Saha (Sr. System Developer, SoftwarePeople), Delwar Hiossain (Sr. Software Engineer, Desme), Sohel Rana (founder Nerddevs), Sk. Global Azure Bootcamp first time In Bangladesh !

For the very first time in Bangladesh, the Global Azure Bootcamp is being held at NewsCred today and is organized by Microsoft Azure Bangladesh(community group managed by Shahriar Hossain). The event which commenced at 11:00am is aimed to familiarize professionals and students alike about the services of Azure that can aid in startup businesses and enterprises to ensure better productivity and security.

Microsoft Azure is a cloud computing platform developed by Microsoft to build, deploy and manage applications and services through a worldwide network of data centers owned and managed by Microsoft. Services include website hosting, database management, business analytics and other cloud services. Starting from 2013, the Microsoft Azure Community organizes a day long Azure Bootcamp globally, and this year, the day long training session is being held in Bangladesh for the first time.

The interactive sessions held during the event are being taken by an expert panel of professionals. The speakers include, Tanzim Saqib (Tech Evangelist, Microsoft Bangladesh), Swagata Prateek, (MVP, Windows Platform Development), Shahriar Hossain (Tech Author and Microsoft Technical Community Speaker), Monjurul Habib (Sr. Software Engineer, Cefalo),  Hasanuzzaman Shuvo (Software Engineer, Kaz Software), Maksud Saifullah Pulak (Software Engineer, Aprosoft), Shahjada Talukdar Masoom (Sr. Software Engineer, Orbitax Bangladesh Ltd),  Shahriar Iqbal Chowdhury (CTO, Desme) and Milton Murshid (Network Engineer, VirtualAjax).

Over 120 individuals are present at the event with the majority of participants being IT professionals. Shahriar Hossain took the session Into the heart of Azure Website.

“This is a movement to empower developers with Microsoft Azure” said Shahriar Hossain. “Through this event we aim to have the developer community be familiarized with Azure and develop a cloud friendly ecosystem.”

“Azure allows businesses to be extremely scalable” said Tanzim Saqib. “Most of the participants at this event are those with technical background, including ones who are not experts on the Microsoft platform. We hope to make them more aware of Azure and help them to integrate cloud computing in their line of work.” He added.
